8 Awesome ENB Presets for Skyrim Special Edition

As much as Bethesda improved the graphic eyecandy of Skyrim, it’s not always enough for the modding community who thoroughly enjoy tweaking it even further.

Here are 8 ENB presets that will enhance the beauty of your game. Just remember, that not every PC will be able to run these properly due to optimization issues.

SkyrimSE Re-Engaged ENB

This is my first ENB for Skyrim. It was originally built off of one of my Witcher 3 ReShades Wild Hunt Re-Engaged but, further tweaked to better suit Skyrim. Although, that was just the for the Vanilla Preset. Overtime now I have expended this preset to include presets for Vanilla, COT, Vivid and NAT.

I tried to keep the changes subtle and too the weather mods authors intent of their mod but, provide an impactful enhancement at the same time. You will find that this is colorful still but, at the same time gloomier and giving you that colder feel in the environment. Nights and interiors will be slightly darker giving a better atmospheric look without taking away from the image quality by hiding the details.

You will find the sunsets/sunrises not as bright orange but, slightly toned down to a redder look. Fires will feel warm and the the sunlight color will bounce off objects with a more realistic look. I tried to keep the effects I wanted to use to not bogged down the reshade but, used just enough to give the image I was looking for. If your system can handle it try the optional DOF add on for an even more immersive feel and the MXAO add on for an even more impactful image quality. Feel free to give it a try. I hope you enjoy.

CFL ENB – Cinematic FIlm Looks (Skyrim SE Edition)
Mod Link – Be sure to check out other screenshots on the mod page!

Author's description:
Cinematic Film Looks is an ENB preset collection for Skyrim SE designed to emulate motion picture film-stocks from the past and modern day, as well as advanced, modern color grading. To accomplish this, great care has been taken to completely overhaul and replace the tone mapping in the game to better resemble the real world. With realistic lighting in place, real grain scans from actual 35mm film were analyzed and CFL’s grain shader has been adjusted to match. Physically correct chromatic lens aberration has been implemented to emulate one of the properties of anamorphic lenses.

Photorealism is an art genre that isn’t only defined as an end in itself, but a means to mimic the photograph language.

It is the concept of using camera and photograph to gather information in order to attempt to reproduce an image as realistically as possible, with a meticulous attention to realistic details, in another medium in emulation of photography.

    Author's description:
This has been configured for the ENB 0.310.beta, so not all previous ENB features are available.
The weather detection, ENB SSAO, and many features are not available.

The color, bloom, and light were confiured for the Day/Night/Interior.

If the scene looked too bright, you can try disable the “Wilds v3 Bloom” option or the ENB bloom from the enbseries.ini setting.
Please use the optional enbseries.ini file download if you have the SkyrimSE Godray enabled to lower the washed out look. It is not required if you prefer the look.

The Fog intensity cannot be tweaked through ENB, so some interiors may look brighter than my original OrganicENB v2.

Skyrim SE kept using the Print Scr key even when I disabled it, so I had to put the ENB screen caputure key to F2.
