This month is a great month for movies. Today we give you eight of the upcoming films for March that you’ll probably want to see. So get off your couch and make your way to the theater for some first-class entertainment.
Zack Snyder’s 300 was a smash hit, and now they’re trying to see if it will happen again. In 300: Rise of the Empire Xerxes is making his way inland and may soon demolish all of Greece.
The Veronica Mars movie isn’t just an anticipated film for March but, quite possibly, the most anticipated movie of the year. Since it was funded entirely on Kickstarter expect them to make sure that the fans are heard.
Bad Words is directed by and starring Jason Bateman. A tale of a 40-year-old man that is taking advantage of a loophole in the rules of a major spelling competition to become a competitor. Though Jason Bateman has directed his fair share of television, this is his first foray into feature film.
First of all, if you haven’t seen The Raid, go out and do that right now. After you’ve done yourself a favor and watched one of the best action movies ever then turn your attention to the sequel aptly titled The Raid 2. This film promises to bring the fighting and tension, be prepared for some very long and very amazing fight sequences.
Coming out on March 14th is the film adaptation of the best selling game series Need for Speed. This time you may not be behind the wheel but they’ve found a fitting substitute in Aaron Paul, of Breaking Bad fame. From the trailer this looks like it may actually live up to the hype.
Coming out March 7th is Wes Anderson’s latest The Grand Budapest Hotel. Once again he has a cast of some of the biggest and brightest names in Hollywood. His films may be quirky, this one doesn’t look like it will be breaking that mold, but full of heart.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s latest film Sabotage features him as a DEA agent. He’s part of an elite task force that is being taken down one by one after they take down a safe house that belonged to a major drug cartel. It screams action but it looks like there may be come good acting in there.
The most anticipated film for the past couple of years, Noah, is finally making its way to the big screen. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, of Pi and Requiem for a Dream fame, he took this fantastical biblical story and put it on the screen. This isn’t your dad’s Noah, this is going to be full of angels and quite a bit of water.
