To celebrate Hearthstone making its way into open beta we give you a short list of some of the most underrated cards in the game.
A massively overlooked card that many consider to not be card-efficient. If your enemy has a minion that you want to attack, but is protected by another taunter play this card and then magically they are targetable.
The Black Knight is very valuable, especially when he’s used late game when the Sunwalkers come out. He has many uses but one of the best is when he’s taking out taunts that would otherwise prevent a lethal that turn. It also helps that he considers everything to be just a flesh wound and will fight til he’s just a torso. A torso of destruction.
Edwin is definitely not a game changer, but he’s great when he can take your opponents attention away from the weaker minions that you just laid down.
The Raging Worgen can be dealt with in a number of ways but his damage is enough of a threat to force other players into dealing with it and in turn drawing out a spell or a taunt.
Thrallmar Farseer, if you are able to play him, and your opponent isn’t able to destroy him that turn, he can become a major threat.
This chicken may have more anger than you can shake a stick at but trust me, when you slap this together with Shattered Sun Cleric, and then whirlwind you can make a very impressive combo strike.
The Young Priestess is a great turn one play against most classes. With their attack they can take out most low cost minions and then, when teamed up with another Young Priestess, they can make a pretty formidable combo.
A great value for two mana if you can protect him for a round or two. He may not be a game winner, but he can definitely help your minions trade up once or twice.
