Stan Lee Lets Word Slip About a Big Hero 6 Sequel

Stan Lee may have just inadvertently revealed the existence of a Big Hero 6 sequel.

Marvel’s Stan Lee – the man behind many of our favorite comic books – has been getting cameos in the film adaptions of said comics for years. In fact, it’s become somewhat of a tradition to slip the aging creative into more and more ridiculous roles. Disney’s Big Hero 6, being a Marvel property, was no exception, with Lee getting quite a lengthy post-credits cameo and now, he may have just let slip that work has already begun on a Big Hero 6 sequel.

“After Ant-Man, we’re going to start playing around with Doctor Strange, the Black Panther, the Inhumans, and then we have to come back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Big Hero 6, The Avengers, Captain America,” Lee told the Toronto Sun in a recent interview.

This wouldn’t be the first time Lee has let a Marvel announcement out of the bag. A few years ago, he spilled the beans on the upcoming Black Panther movie before it had been officially revealed.

That said, while Lee is credited as an “executive producer” for all of these films, his role is more or less honorary, and he doesn’t have too much say in what goes on.

So, this may have been Lee saying something he shouldn’t have, or he may have just made an error.
