First Game Published by Square Enix Collective is Available Now

Goetia is the first game to be published by the Square Enix Collective program – and it’s available on Steam now.

Goetia, the first release from the Square Enix Collective program, has launched on steam. The Kickstarter-funded game is a point and click puzzler in which the player assumes the role of a 12-year-old girl’s recently resurrected ghost.

Earlier this week we reported that Goetia developer Sushee had secured the license to develop the next Fear Effect title, Fear Effect Sedna. The Kickstarter campaign for that project is currently live, and has raised $49,656 of its $114,106 goal with 28 days remaining.

“It’s been a fantastic experience getting to know the Sushee team over the past 18 months,” said Phil Elliott, creator and project lead for Square Enix Collective. “We love the depth and atmosphere of Goetia, and we’re really proud that the game is the first in a range of releases to come via Collective this year.”

“Square Enix Collective has been a great partner and friend to Sushee since we submitted the Goetia pitch to them all those months ago,” added Sushee’s Benjamin Anseaume. “We’re really excited to be launching the game and can’t wait for people to experience Abigail’s story, and solve the dark mystery of the Blackwoods.”
