You can check out Tom Clancy’s The Division this weekend without laying out any cash.
If you’ve been waiting until Tom Clancy’s The Division went down in price to check it out, here’s some good news: You can play it this weekend for free. Ubisoft is offering up a free weekend trial of its open-world shooter that starts today and runs through Sunday.
If you’ve already download the current free trial, you’ll be happy to hear that its restrictions (maximum level of eight or six hours of playtime) won’t apply to this weekend’s event. They will, however, be reinstated once the event ends Sunday.
The trial has already started on consoles, with PC set to begin in a few hours. Here’s when the event will begin and end on each platform:
- PC: May 4, 1 PM EDT to May 7, 4 PM EDT.
- PS4: May 4, 1 PM EDT to May 7, 1 PM EDT. A PS+ Subscription is required.
- Xbox One: May 4, 3:01 AM EDT to May 8, 2:59AM EDT. An Xbox Live Gold Subscription is required.
As you would expect, there is an accompanying sale on the game. You can buy The Division for 65 percent off on all platforms, and any progress you make during the free weekend will carry over.
You can find more information on the game and its free trial over on The Division‘s official website.
