Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is coming to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch. Microsoft and developer Tuque Games made the announcement in an Xbox Wire post, confirming that the four-player co-op action RPG will be available to download via Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S on June 22. The game will also be available to play on phones and tablets thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming technology.
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance was announced in December 2019 as a new spin on the original Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. Come launch, players will gather to combat through enemies and worlds from Dungeons & Dragons lore, with the option to choose from four playable characters: Drizzt, Catti-brie, Bruenor, and Wulfgar. Tuque has confirmed that Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance supports PC and console cross-play, so with the added accessibility brought on by Xbox Game Pass, you should have no problem connecting with friends to adventure with.
Tuque gave us a heavy metal gameplay trailer to the tune of Ozzy Osbourne in March. In addition to Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is also set to come to PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on June 22.
Microsoft has continued to add more value to Xbox Game Pass in the last few months. In addition to adding loads of Bethesda games following the publisher’s acquisition announcement last year, subscribers have regularly received other multiplayer-focused games, such as Outriders and Second Extinction.
