Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris, the next DLC expansion, has been announced at the E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward. Eivor still has a long road ahead, it turns out, and The Siege of Paris will arrive sometime this summer. The presentation showcased a nice batch of footage from the expansion for players to absorb.
More content was announced as well, as the company will release Viking Age this fall, a free Assassin’s Creed Valhalla discovery tour aimed to let players live as regular people during the time of Vikings. Better yet, Ubisoft is promising to support Assassin’s Creed Valhalla “well into its second year,” a first for the series. What exactly lies in store for Eivor in 2022 remains a mystery, but Ubisoft does tease that the protagonist is not done dealing with Odin. Watch the announcement video below.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla brought players to the Viking age as Eivor last year. The game’s first DLC, Wrath of the Druids, meanwhile, launched in April of this year. The Escapist’s Mark Delaney reviewed the expansion content, saying that it won’t change anyone’s mind about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but “if you were still on board, it’s exciting to return to that world.” Stay tuned for more news on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Siege of Paris.
