Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly seem up to the challenge of being the headliners of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet as your starter options, and these new details make them a bit more enticing even still. Meanwhile, The Pokémon Company has also provided the character art for the main character options in Scarlet and Violet. They seem committed to the color scheme of each game.
Notably, these will be the first traditional (i.e., not Arceus) games in the series to occur in an open-world setting, and The Pokémon Company is stressing it: “Various towns blend seamlessly into the wilderness with no borders. You’ll be able to see the Pokémon of this region in the skies, in the seas, in the forests, on the streets—all over!”
