All of the Netflix Marvel shows have migrated to Disney+, so what happens next? Well, in the case of Daredevil, you just bring it back. Variety is exclusively reporting that a Daredevil Disney+ series is in development with Matt Corman and Chris Ord acting as writers and executive producers. Corman and Ord were previously showrunners on the series Covert Affairs, The Enemy Within, The Brave, and Containment. Marvel has not commented on this report as a matter of policy.
There is no word on casting, but it seems likely that both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk respectively, since they both debuted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe recently. Murdock appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, while Fisk appeared in Hawkeye. Although, even if they do return, the new Disney+ Daredevil may not be a continuation of any events seen in the dark Netflix series. This could be a potentially lighter take that more easily matches the tone of the MCU. It’s too early to say either way though.
Earlier this week, Disney+ finally revealed the trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which looks like a more fun and comedic series, even if it’s still grappling with its CG for its heroine.
