Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment published a 12-minute gameplay trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem, revealing a release date of October 18, 2022 for PC, Nintendo Switch (via cloud), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox Game Pass. The showcase follows Amicia and Hugo as they use their new tricks and tactics to evade soldiers. They’re more capable now than ever, but it looks like they’ll need their new skills in this sequel that looks just as bleak as its predecessor. See A Plague Tale: Requiem in action in the extended gameplay trailer below.
The video also shows a glimpse of the A Plague Tale: Requiem Collector’s Edition, which comes with a detailed statue featuring Amicia and Hugo, a two-track vinyl, the game itself, and more. It’ll cost you a pretty penny at $189.99, but if money is no object, you can find it at the Focus Entertainment Store. In addition to today’s lengthy gameplay showcase and release date reveal, Asobo and Focus announced that they are working with Nvidia to bring Nvidia RTX features to A Plague Tale: Requiem. That means PC players can enjoy ray tracing and Nvidia DLSS support when the game arrives later this year.
Stay tuned for more on A Plague Tale: Requiem as we inch closer to the October release date on PC, Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox Game Pass. It has been three years already since the original title, A Plague Tale: Innocence, released.
