A Choo-Choo Charles release date trailer has been revealed by developer Two Star Games, promising to bring train terrors to PC via Steam come December 9, 2022. Although it just misses spooky season, this viral indie nightmare is still right around the corner, and it doesn’t hurt that this new trailer footage shows off lots of improvements since we last saw Charles in action. Choo-Choo Charles has become so much more than a simple gimmick game, with the release date trailer highlighting its island location’s many areas and those who inhabit it.
This looks like the last island you’d ever want to be stuck on, but it does look like it’s exactly the kind of place to fight off a killer train. See the Choo-Choo Charles release date trailer below.
When Choo-Choo Charles reached viral status late last year, many feared it would be a one-dimensional survival horror game with little to chew on. Today’s trailer brings those fears to a grinding halt, as the player character can be seen performing tasks for other characters and doing quick mini-games to unlock chests. The upgradable train and its many weapons are sure to keep players engaged, too, assuming the game’s titular murder train doesn’t scare you off first.
Two Star says Choo-Choo Charles will take players around three-to-five hours to complete when it comes to PC later this year. No price has been set yet.
