Rocksteady Studios’ new Suicide Squad-centered game has received an official title, and it will be called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The company announced last week that it would be showing off its new game at the DC FanDome event on Aug. 22. The DC FanDome schedule and lineup have been announced, and a panel for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will take place at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
The panel will last for 20 minutes and be hosted by The Lego Batman Movie Batman voice actor Will Arnett. There’s no indication of what kind of content will be shown, but it will most likely be a reveal trailer and then some Q&A after.
Last month, Eurogamer reported that the Rocksteady Studios game’s title would be Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and it now turns out that this was accurate.
In the report, domain names were registered too, including “SuicideSquadGame.com” back on June 16 also and “GothamKnightsGame.com,” which reportedly is related to Warner Bros. Montreal’s upcoming Batman game based on the Court of Owls storyline that was teased back in January.
Both the Suicide Squad and Batman games are reportedly aiming for a next-generation release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
