The Suicide Squad Character Roster & Sneak Peek Videos Revealed

We’ve finally been given a look at the big players in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. The actors, their characters, and even some new costumes were shown off during a short new teaser featured at DC FanDome. Plus, the event also gave us a first look at some behind-the-scenes footage. You can see the sneak peek in the tweet below.

Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, and Jai Courtney will reprise their previous Suicide Squad roles as Harley Quinn, Amanda Waller, Rick Flag, and Captain Boomerang, respectively, with each character also getting an updated look in the film. Meanwhile, Idris Elba will play Bloodsport, John Cena will be Peacemaker, Michael Rooker is Savant, Nathan Fillion is T.D.K., Pete Davidson is Blackguard, Sean Gunn is Weasel, Flula Borg is Javelin, David Dastmalchian is Polka-Dot Man, Daniela Melchior is Ratcatcher, Steve Agee is King Shark, Mayling Ng is Mongal, Peter Capaldi is the Thinker, and Alice Braga is Sol Soria. You can start taking bets on which of these Suicide Squad members will have their heads blown off in the film after you take a look at the video below.

Earlier this month, Gunn finally gave us a look at what the film’s logo would look like ahead of today’s DC FanDome event.

James Gunn’s  The Suicide Squad is currently set to premiere on Aug. 6, 2021.
