Cobra Kai Season 3 Release Date Revealed in Teaser, Season 4 Confirmed

Cobra Kai season 3 release date teaser video season 4 confirmed Netflix

Miguel lives! The first trailer for Cobra Kai season 3 has landed, and it’s full of karate and a bit of a spoiler from the previous season as we find out the fate of Miguel after being seriously injured. The show is returning for a third season on Netflix after YouTube let it go when it eased its way out of producing original content. The show has garnered a strong following on Netflix already, increasing the hype for season 3.

Alongside this quick teaser, which plays both with Miguel’s return and the show’s, Netflix announced that Cobra Kai has also already been renewed for a fourth season. It makes sense given the series’s success on the streamer, its already installed fanbase, and the relatively low cost it takes to produce. That makes it a keeper for Netflix, which has a notorious analytical cancellation policy that often sees even successful shows canceled after only a couple seasons.

Cobra Kai season 3 of the show finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between the two dojos led by Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), which has left Miguel in the state we see him in the trailer. Netflix’s official description goes on to say, “While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.”

Cobra Kai will crane kick its way back onto screens on Jan. 8, 2021.
