Developer Playground Games, development partner Sumo Digital, and Xbox Game Studios have announced that Forza Horizon 4 will be releasing on Steam on March 9. Forza Horizon 4 has over 450 cars for players to drive in and features dynamic season changes throughout Britain.
On Steam, Forza Horizon 4 will feature multiplayer cross-platform play with Xbox consoles, Windows 10 PC version, and xCloud streaming players. It is also the first game in the Forza series, whether Forza Horizon or Forza Motorsport, to launch on Steam. The Steam release in March will reportedly also include the Fortune Island and Lego Speed Champions expansions.
Forza Horizon 4 launched a battle royale mode back in 2019 called The Eliminator, as well as the Super7 mode in December 2020, where players earn rewards for completing a series of seven randomly selected stunt challenges. All of this content is expected to be part of the Steam release as well.
