The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Next-Gen Edition Coming in Second Half of 2021
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S consoles in the second half of 2021, as announced by CD Projekt today. Those who own the previous-gen version on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will gain access to the next-gen edition (within the same family) for free. It will also be available to purchase as a standalone product. Interestingly, the next-gen port is being handled by Saber Interactive — the team that worked on the Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run Surpasses 25 Million Downloads
As reported by PocketGamer and according to Sensor Tower data, mobile game Crash Bandicoot: On the Run has surpassed 25 million downloads. The mobile game officially launched on March 25 and between then and March 28 reached 22 million downloads alone. On its release day, it ranked as the top downloaded iPhone game across 82 countries and on Google Play was the top downloaded game in 31 countries overall. It’s available now on mobile devices now.

Fortnite Is Getting a Resolution and Performance Boost on Nintendo Switch
Today, Epic Games announced a new update for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, which is set to enhance the game’s resolution and performance on the handheld. The update is starting to roll out right now and boosts the game’s resolution to 1170×660 in handheld mode and 1560×880 while docked. Epic said the update will result “in images that are less blurry, without loss of performance.”

Here Are the Xbox Games with Gold Titles for April 2021
Microsoft has revealed April 2021’s Games with Gold lineup, which includes the following games:
- Vikings: Wolves of Midgard ($39.99 ERP): Available April 1 to 30
- Truck Racing Championship ($59.99 ERP): Available April 16 to May 15
- Dark Void ($14.99 ERP): Available April 1 to 15
- Hard Corps: Uprising ($14.99 ERP): Available April 16 to 30
This unfortunately isn’t one of the strongest lineups, but as some fans have pointed out, it’s interesting to see Hard Corps: Uprising on the list. Check out the new Games with Gold trailer below!
New Spider-Man: Miles Morales Suit Added
Out of nowhere, Insomniac Games has released a new free update to Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Most notably, the update features a new suit referred to as the “Advanced Tech Suit,” which is available across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 right now. The developer also mentioned that on PS5 only, the update will include “realistic muscle deformation on select suits.” You can take a look at the new suit below!
