Guitar Hero II Set List Official

At long last Red Octane has decided to stop beating around the bush and spill their entire set list for Guitar Hero II.

The bad news is that what I hoped was a misprint on the previously “leaked” set list from G-Hole, wasn’t, and is actually “Search and Destroy” by Iggy Pop and the Stooges. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Mr. Pop, per se, it’s just that “Seek and Destroy” by Metallica is a far, far greater song, and perfectly suited, I think, for Guitar Herofication.

The good news is that the “Girlfriend” listed on G-Hole’s stolen list is, in fact, Matthew Sweet’s version. It will probably sound familiar to you once you hear it, but if not, don’t sweat it. Just prepare yourself for a rough ride on the solo.

The even better news is that one of the previously-unannounced track’s is “Killing in the Name of” by Rage Against the Machine. That’s right, and now you do what they told ya.

November can’t come soon enough.
