Here we go – Legion of Steel’s answers:
What is unique about your guild?
We have a casual/hardcore base (more hardcore then not it appears), but just as long as a person can contribute regularly we welcome them to join. Aside from that we are a multi-gaming guild following both Age of Conan and Warhammer Online. That gives the members the unique ability to still stay within the guild as a whole, but still have options regarding what they wish to play.
Who are the people of your guild?
There’s a lot of us, so here’s our memberlist.
We have people of all ages in this guild. We are a group of laid back individuals just chilling and getting along with each other. The general atmosphere of our forums is pretty comical allot of the time. We are very active, with quite allot of new posts popping up every few minutes. The best way to find out is to just stop by our site and see for yourselves!
What is your current guild size?
146 members, we usually get about 20-30 applications per monthly period. We do heavily filter out inactives, so our numbers are pretty much all active. But people could probably tell that by how active our forums are. I never liked seeing a bloated roster filled with non-actives to just boast about how many people are in their guild. If they are just a number with no one behind it, then in the end it’s just meaningless. On a sidenote, we halted recruitment for several months but now again recruiting.
What servers are you gunning on?
PvP, aside from that we haven’t really chosen yet.
What is your take on Role Playing?
I have participated in a little RP back in the days of EQ1, but the majority of the time I was non-RP. As for the guild, there are some of us that dabble with it a bit but as a whole we are not an RP guild.
How do you look at interacting with other guilds?
LOS is pretty much self-contained. We are not looking for alliances of any kind, but we do get along with other guilds quite well.
How are you structured socially (ranks, groups…)?
Simplicity is best in our opinion. We have the general membership and above that the council. Since we are a multi-gaming guild we have the founder (me) on the top overlooking both the AoC and WAR sections which both have individual council sections, yet still work cooperatively together for guild concerns as a whole. We are pretty much against micro-management.
What is your take on player cities?
I’ve always been keen on having a nice battlekeep and participating in some PvP fun. I think all the features sound pretty much interesting, since no matter how you go about it your building something to call “home” with your guild.
What is your take on in-game taxes and loot distribution?
Need before greed works the best. When LOS was first created we were hoping to have a “donation” type of system where people contribute what they can. Although, we have to wait and see how efficiently that works.
What excites you most about Age of Conan?
The unique combat system, the PvP, and sieging.
How are you planning on communicating in-game?
We already have Ventrilo set up for this function.
What are you looking for in a potential member?
Someone who is down to earth, has a head on their shoulders, and is mature. We want them to remain active and participate with the rest of the guild as well as our forums.

I’m proud to be a member of LOS, it’s been a great opportunity to meat some fantastic people. There’s always consistent activity on our forums and plenty to talk about. It’s pretty interesting to look back at the start of LOS. It was around when the AoC forums were still relatively new and before there was even a guild section. I believe we were the #1 first guild for AoC, since I don’t recall ever seeing anyone else with a guild tag until a couple months later.
