The latest batch of questions and answers from EA Mythic about Warhammer Online. Obviously, this batch was conducted before the recent decision to close off their Beta for a couple months.

WarCry: Will character creation follow DAOC? IE, each race will have certain stats, and the player will have a pool of points to assign, or are you going with something different?
WAR Community Team: All characters in WAR have the same stats; though, different stats are obviously more important to different classes than others. There are no starting stats to distribute at character creation and stats automatically rise as you level based on their importance to your class.
WarCry: We know that tactics can be switched out as you need them, are there any plans to allow respecs for other things you gain by leveling? If so, how?
WAR Community Team: We are looking at a couple different options for respecing your character down the road, since no one wants to be locked into a character they are not happy with.
WarCry: Can you tell us a bit about how the beta is going? Perhaps tell us something the players seem to really love right now in game?
WAR Community Team: Beta is going fabulously! It is Beta, quite early Beta even, so there are naturally problems here and there, but for the most part it’s been going very smoothly. As far as the testers go, they seem to be a very diverse group in what they love. Public quests have gotten a lot of kudos along the way, as well as the Tome of Knowledge and lore in the game.
