According to some, a comprehensive knowledge of TV Tropes (which I won’t link to, saving you all time, money and time) is a reasonable substitute for a degree in English Lit, years of training in the field of psychoanalysis and, in extreme cases, a medical license.
Some of you may have noticed we’ve done some pretty freaky stuff with the speech bubbles in this strip. I mean, wow. Just look at panel 2 there. That’s a trisected bub with a non-oral, spiked trail connected to the second bubble in the sequence! I know, this may be a bit avant-garde for some of you, but it’ll be okay. We’ll get through this. Together.
