The first wing of Hearthstone‘s first expansion, Curse of Naxxramas, has just come out. To help you along as you get acquainted with the addition we give you eight of the best new cards. So prepare to do even better at Hearthstone, if that’s possible.
You can’t get your hands on Kel’Thuzad quite yet, but it will be a real treat when you do. Even in Azeroth he’s quite the formidable opponent.
Webspinner may become your new favorite card in Hearthstone, since Hunters didn’t have enough sources of card advantage. When this little guy gets squished, he gives you a random Beast from the menagerie.
The Mad Scientist may not be rare, but he’s definitely useful. He’ll put an inactive secret from your deck into play for free, making you even more dangerous to your enemies.
In order to get the Spectral Knight you’ll have to defeat Gothik the Harvester, not the easiest task. He’s basically a giant version of the Faerie Dragon, and who doesn’t want a giant Faerie Dragon?
This deadly spider, Maexxna, can be procured by completing the Arachnid Quarter in the Curse of Naxxramas addition. It’ll kill anything it touches and survive a couple rounds in the ring against all but the most enormous minions.
This epic minion, Shade of Naxxramas, is obtained when you defeat the mighty Kel’Thuzad in the Frostwyrm Lair. You may remember this creature from the Naxxramas raid in World of Warcraft, but now it’s time for it to fight for you.
The Nerub’ar Weblord is a common minion, although when you learn his role in this world he seems less common. This beast has no allegiance and is known to attack whomever it faces and helps put an end to multiple Leeroy Jenkins attacks in a single turn.
The druid spell Poison Seeds can be quite the game changer. Stack your own side of the board with Deathrattle effects, and wait for your opponent to summon a giant, then profit profit profit.
