Get a first look at the third season of Vikings, making its way to the History Channel in 2015.
Ready for more Vikings, History Channel’s original series telling “extraordinary tales of the lives and epic adventures” of these legendary Dark Age warriors? Bad news: the third season of the popular show isn’t coming until next year. Good news: you can get sneak peek in this teaser trailer, which made its debut at San Diego Comic Con this weekend.
Season three will also bring some new characters into the fray, with The Tudors‘ Lothaire Bluteau taking the role of France’s Emperor Charles, “a powerful man who views battling the Vikings as spiritual and earthly.” Other new cast members include Kevin Durant of The Strain as The Wanderer, a mysterious stranger; Morgane Polanski as Emperor Charles’ daughter Princess Gisla; and Ben Robson as Kalf, “Lagertha’s trusted second in command.”
The third season of Vikings is currently in production and will premiere on the History Channel in 2015.
