Available between April 22-April 28, the Mortal Kombat 1 inspired Premier Tower includes a secret Easter egg referencing Ed Boon’s original violent versus fighter. MK fanatics should already know what to do, but there’s no confirmation if this trophy will be attainable in the post-April Premier Towers, so get online and encounter a returning hidden boss.

Keep it Secret Trophy / Achievement Guide

To unlock this strange trophy / achievement and fight a special boss, you’ll need to complete several steps.

  • 1. Select “Towers”, “Living Towers”, then “Premier Tower” — the secret fight is likely only available during MK1-themed Premier Tower.
  • 2. Play until Opponent 6 — during this fight, you must complete one flawless round. It can be done during round 1 or round 2. Perform a fatality after winning. If you take a hit, pause and select “Character Select” to restart the fight.
  • 3. A message will appear, “You have Discovered a Secret Fight” and the achievement / trophy will immediately unlock.

For those unfamiliar with the original Mortal Kombat (released way back in 1992) Reptile only appeared as a uniquely hidden opponent. By following cryptic messages, solo kombatants could reach one of gaming’s first hidden versus fighters.

Before becoming a genuine cold-blooded creature, Reptile started his career as a deadly combination of Scorpion and Sub-Zero. The green-pallet swapped ninja used moves from both characters.
