Enthusiast Gaming, TikTok, and e.l.f. cosmetics are joining forces to launch TikTok Gamers Got Talent, a seven-week live series that puts the spotlight on content creators and their hidden talents. Set to premiere its first episode on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET, creators will put their abilities on display in front of millions for a chance to win $25,000 and e.l.f. beauty products. Each episode will see selected participants showing off their talents. From expert guitar players to master chefs, TikTok Gamers Got Talent will include talents from across the board, so expect to see skills of all shapes and sizes.
“TikTok continues to be a platform where culture starts and through TikTok’s Gamers Got Talent, a North American first, our gaming community will have an opportunity to reach new audiences, be discovered and entertained,” said Nadia Niccoli, Director of Marketing, TikTok Canada. “We’re excited to have two industry giants in their respective areas, e.l.f. Cosmetics and Enthusiast Gaming, on board to support and show gamers the power of TikTok.”
Entering is easy, but winning big in TikTok Gamers Got Talents means you’ll have to bring something truly special. Top contestants will demonstrate their skills to a rotating panel of celebrity judges composed of veteran gamers and TikTok creators, with a winner set to be announced during a grand finale episode on June 20. Judges will be looking for three things when judging contestants: entertainment value, level of skill, and the quality of presentation.
If you’re a TikTok user interested in participating in TikTok Gamers Got Talent and you’ve got something you want to show off, you can head over to Gamersgottalent.com to read the rules and learn how to apply. Though you’ll need to be quick, as submissions for the United States and Canada are only open between now and May 2.
