Serious game journalist and television producer Flower joins Vancouver-based SlantSix Games to try her hand at development.
Flower is well-known for co-hosting Electric Playground, her column in Official US PlayStation Magazine, and most recently Yahoo’s videogame web-show, Reset.
A design position is a natural progression for Flower, who maintained an obvious affinity for the Tim Schafer and Lorne Lanning style of game development.
Flower started at SlantSix last month, and commented on her person blog: “I’m so excited to join their little cluster of development and am really looking forward to taking the plunge into the design process. It’s a small studio with a ton of experienced people who I can’t wait to learn from. And I’m the only girl!”
