Blue Dragon Airing on TV Tokyo

A Blue Dragon anime show to be released on Japanese television.

Japanese game magazine Famitsu reports that an anime based on Blue Dragon, an Xbox 360 game created by famous Japanese developers Hironobu Sakaguchi (Final Fantasy), Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball) and composer Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), will air on TV Tokyo in April. Studio Pierrot, the makers behind the Power Stone, Naruto and Bleach shows, are producing the show alongside director Yukihiro Matsushita (Star Ocean EX).

Kluke, the game’s lead character, will be voiced Erino Hazuki. Other actors doing voice work include Keiko Nemoto (Shu), Daisuke Namikawa (Zero) and Masaya Takatsuka (Blue Dragon).
