New Details on the 2007 World Cyber Games

The World Cyber Games announced that both Tony Hawk’s Project 8 and Carom3D will be included in its 2007 competition. There will be 12 games in all, and the WCG now has the most games ever in an e-Sport competition.

The list of previously announced titles are as follows: Starcraft: Blood War for the PC, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne for the PC, Half-Life Counterstrike for the PC, Command and Conquer 3 Tiiberium Wars for the PC, Age of Empires III: The War Chiefs for the PC, FIFA Soccer 07 for the PC, Need for Speed Carbon for the PC, Gears of War for the Xbox 360, Dead or Alive 4 for the Xbox 360, and finally, Project Gotham Racing 3 for the Xbox 360.

From March 12-20, both players and spectators are invited to log on to WCG’s web site and provide feedback on each game’s rules and regulations.

The World Cyber Games boast over 1 million participants from over 70 countries, features year round online and offline events and is widely considered the gaming world’s premier tournament.
