Sierra Executive Heads High Moon

Peter Della Penna takes over High Moon Studios.

John Rowe, the founder of High Moon Studios, has stepped down from his post as President to serve as an adviser. Parent company Sierra Entertainment is placing Peter Della Penna, previously the head of Sierra’s worldwide studios, at the helm of High Moon.

Rowe is confident that Della Penna can continue to improve the studio. “Peter has been an integral part of High Moon since our acquisition. He has intimate knowledge of the studio and the admiration of our development principals. High Moon is poised for continued success under his leadership.”

Martin Tremblay, President of Worldwide Studios for Sierra Entertainment, commented on the shift in executive ranks. “We look to Peter to direct all aspects of the critical development work being done for Sierra Entertainment within High Moon Studios. I’m confident under Peter’s leadership, High Moon will continue the momentum John has established.”

“I’m truly honored to join High Moon Studios in this capacity and look forward to building on the foundation of creativity and quality already in place,” said Della Penna. “I’m excited about the enhanced interaction I’ll have with the team focused on producing a strong slate of Sierra Entertainment products.”
