Nintendo Signs on for Entertainment for All Expo in LA

IDC World Expo announced today that Nintendo of America has signed on to exhibit at the Entertainment for All Expo on October 18-21, 2007, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The Entertainment for All Expo (E for All) was created in response to consumer demand to see and try products before they hit store shelves. The October time frame makes event organizers confident that it will help foster an early and successful holiday shopping season. Consumers will have the opportunity to test drive the latest in games and gadgets and purchase products in on-site retail facilities.

The E for All Expo will also feature tournaments, job fair and networking opportunities, and the Video Games Live concert.

Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communication, George Harrison, feels that the E for All Expo “supports Nintendo’s mission to reach as many types of consumers as possible to expand the world of video games to new audiences.” Mary Dolaher, Executive VP of IDG World Expo, indicated that Nintendo’s early support for E for All demonstrates the importance of a consumer-focused event for the industry, and praised Nintendo’s commitment to embracing the spectrum of gamers.

Nintendo of America will be E for All’s flagship exhibitor, and Executive Vice President of Operations for Nintendo of America, Don James, has also agreed to serve on the E for All Expo Exhibitor Advisory Board.
