“Stratofender” of Gaming Guitars Released

The computer and videogame store GameStop has unveiled the first images of the new Rock Band guitar.

The Fender-licensed peripheral features 10 fret buttons, though Gamespot, the gaming website, noted that five might be redundant.

Gamestop, the retail store, is offering a bundled set that will include the game, wireless guitar, drums and a microphone for $200. Each will also be sold separately.

While the game is being released for the Xbox 360 and PS3, focus group testers were reportedly told that a Wii version is under development, as well.
