B movie director Uwe Boll was the surprise speaker at last weekend’s Penny Arcade Expo. He used his floor time to showcase a trailer of an upcoming film and defend his past ones.
Boll ran a reel of Postal depicting September 11 hijackers debating the number of virgins in heaven and a DMV customer shooting bullet-proof glass to no avail.
Boll described the upcoming film as his best work and as political satire designed to test barriers.
Some convention attendees asked Boll why his films are of poor quality. The director defended himself by citing poor original source material and asserted that he was successful because his films generate profits.
