Today I Die, the favorite Alt+Escape title of 2009, has been nominated for an award in this years’ Independent Gaming Festival at GDC.
The Game Developers Conference is just around the corner, and with it, the Independent Game Festival, and out of 306 entries, Today I Die, the most popular Alt+Escape title of 2009, has been nominated in the Nuovo category, which honors unconventional, unusual or abstract titles.
Other nominess include tongue-in-cheek BASE jumping game AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! — A Reckless Disregard For Gravity and gorey but cute Wii platformer Super Meat Boy. I’ve hidden the full list of nominees behind a spoiler tag, give it a click if you want to see.
