The box can be opened, but there’s a trick to it, and unless you know what it is, the box remains firmly shut. You could always just take it apart, but that would be cheating. Medical Science Pinches Idea from Star Trek
Medical science in Star Trek is so advanced that Star Fleet doctors might as well be wizards waving magic wands. But one indispensible piece of sick bay equipment -the dermal regenerator – has gotten a great deal more real recently, and seems to be doing wonders for treating burn victims. There aren’t many people who have warm fuzzy feelings towards calculus, and at some point or other, we’ve all found ourselves stuck on a particular tricky problem. One World of Warcraft player was so stuck, he even went so far as to reach out to the game’s GMs. Thankfully, one of the requirements to be a WoW GM is a doctorate in Advanced Math (this is probably untrue) and the lucky student got his answer in full. BioWare Reveals How It’s Keeping Its Dragons Safe from Pirates
No one likes DRM, so it’s never a joyous occasion when a developer unveils the hoops that PC gamers will have to jump through in order to play a game. For Dragon Age 2, BioWare has tried to keep it pretty reasonable. Installation does require an internet connection, but you can install the game on as many computers as you like. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s better than some. (Link)
Black Ops Kills Everyone Nine Times Over
Activision has released some pretty amazing stats for Call of Duty: Black Ops. For example, nearly 29 million people have died from tomahawk ricochets, and more than five billion people have been on the wrong end of bullets to the face.
