Starting February 28th, you can shred to Foster the People, Run DMC, Skrillex, and more.
Anyone familiar with SSX knows the game as much for its slick beats as its signature stunt shredding play. And with the February 28th return of the series just weeks away, EA has released the complete list of songs players will hear while jumping out of helicopters to perform front flip 360 experimental to late nosegrabs in the Bavarian alps.
“SSX has always been one of EA’s most music intensive, genre diverse and sonically adventurous titles,” said the company’s own Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music & Music Marketing. “The songs on this new soundtrack cover ground from indie rock, dub step, hip-hop, drum + bass and beyond. As fans of the ultimate snowboarding franchise have come to expect, our artists range from top cutting-edge stars to tomorrow’s hottest underground acts. Ultimately, it’s a soundtrack full of next-level music that is totally ripe for discovery.”
Here’s the complete tracklist, including 36 licensed tracks and 10 created exclusively for the game:

If this list somehow fails to impress you, EA has also announced that players will be able to upload their own music and create custom playlists for use on game menus and on the slopes. SSX even offers a new “dynamic remix tool” that will “automatically remix licensed tracks and custom music based on the player’s actions and performance in-game.”
All of the game’s music can currently be found on iTunes, including the ten original tracks (those are the ones by The Qemists, Camo & Krooked, Raffertie, and Amon Tobin) under “SSX Soundtrack.” To get your hands on the actual game though, you’ll need to wait until the end of the month like everyone else. Still, if you want to get ahead of the curve, Amazon is currently giving people a $10 gift card for preordering.
