The latest trailer for Assassin’s Creed III sheds some light on Connor’s pre-Assassin days.
The last few games in the Assassin’s Creed series focused on Florentine nobleman Ezio Auditore, but Assassin’s Creed III will begin a new chapter, in which a new Assassin of Native American and English descent fights the Templars on American soil during the Revolutionary War. In this trailer, we get a few glimpses of Connor’s journey from helpless child to skilled Assassin.
Connor’s quest for justice is what drives him to join the Assassins, but before long he becomes involved “in something much greater.” In addition to Connor’s backstory, we get a look at some pretty varied battlefields in “An Assassin’s Journey,” including one at sea.
With less than a month to go, we’re now in the home stretch leading up to Assassin’s Creed III‘s October 30 release. Connor’s full story will be revealed when it comes out for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and eventually the Wii U.
