Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League Rocksteady Studios next-gen release Batman Gotham Knights Warner Bros. Montreal rumor leak

The Batman Arkham developer, Rocksteady Studios, is reportedly creating a game based on DC Comics’ Suicide Squad for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. According to Eurogamer, there is a possibility that the title will be Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as that was registered as a domain.

There were also other domain names registered, including “SuicideSquadGame.com” and “GothamKnightsGame.com,” the former which was registered back on June 16. The latter domain reportedly pertains to Warner Bros. Montreal’s upcoming Batman game based on the Court of Owls, which was teased back in January. This studio handled Batman Arkham Origins back in 2013.

Both the Suicide Squad and Batman games are reportedly set for next-generation release and will be revealed at an August DC FanDome event according to Eurogamer. Although we may see a decent amount of the new Batman game, as it has been teased for a while now, the release of Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad game is said to be further away than the launch of the Gotham Knights Warner Bros. Montreal title.

Meanwhile, a recent report from CNBC stated that AT&T is seeking to sell Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and its various game IP, and Electronic Arts, Activision Blizzard, and Take-Two Interactive are said to be interested in it.
