Battlefield 2042 was first revealed this past week with a bombastic cinematic trailer from EA and developer DICE. During that first event, it was revealed that the game will launch on Oct. 22, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S. Additionally, it was revealed that the game will not have a traditional campaign mode.
