Battlefield Goes Single Player

EA has announced Battlefield: Bad Company for the Xbox 360 and PS3. This will be the first single-player focused title in the long running series.

Slated for 2007, Digital Illusions is working on a new console game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Coined as a “deep, cinematic single-player experience” the game will be a departure from the multiplayer-heavy Battlefield games. While single-player will be the focus, there will still be multiplayer support, according to the developer.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for the Xbox 360 was successful on the console, breaking into the top 10 sales after release.
