Jingliu is an incredibly powerful 5-Star character of the Ice element who follows the Path of Destruction in Honkai: Star Rail. She’s a primary damage dealer and one of the best in the business at doing so. If you managed to pull Jingliu, here’s the best way to build her in Honkai: Star Rail.

Best Relic Sets for Jingliu
For Jingliu in Honkai: Star Rail we’ll be going with the four piece Hunter of Glacial Forest set. This set provides 10% increased Ice Damage which boosts all her damage output. You also get a nice 25% Crit Damage boost for two turns after using her Ultimate ability. For the Planetary Relic set we’ll be going with the Rutilant Arena two piece set. This gives Jingliu a flat 8% Crit Rate and if you can achieve an overall Crit Rate of 70%, she’ll also get a hefty 20% boost to Basic and Skill damage. These sets are all about stacking as much Crit and damage as possible to get the biggest DPS out of Jingliu in Honkai: Star Rail.

Best Relic Stats for Jingliu
For the main implicit stats you’ll want to aim for the following: Crit Rate on the Body, Speed on the Boots, Ice Damage on the Planar Sphere and Attack % on the Link Rope. You can take Crit Damage on the Body if you already have 50%+ Crit Rate from your other sub-stats.
For your sub stats you should follow this priority: Crit Rate to 50% > Crit Damage% > Attack % > Speed > Flat Attack. Ideally across your relic stats, bonuses and passives you’ll want to hit the 70% Crit Rate requirement for the Rutilant Arena bonus damage to activate. Once you hit that stacking as much Crit Damage as possible will lead you to hit some pretty wild numbers.
Best Light Cones
As with most 5 Star-characters, Jingliu has a signature Light Cone which is her best in slot for damage. It’s usually not easy to have enough Rail Passes to pull for 5=Star Light Cones however so I’d only recommend it if you’re planning to use her as your main damage character for a long time.
There are some excellent alternatives to her signature Light Cone. On the Fall of an Aeon is exceptional 5-Star Light Cone on her and only 15% behind her signature Light Cone when at Superimpose level 5. Luckily it’s quite easy to buy and upgrade this 5-Star Light Cone from simply gathering the tokens need to buy and upgrade it at Herta’s Simulated Universe store.
That’s how you can build the best possible Jingliu in Honkai: Star Rail. She is incredibly powerful and well worth the investment if you managed to snag her from the Limited Character Banner!
