Blizzard Entertainment is creating a survival game set in a brand new universe and has revealed two interesting pieces of concept art for it. The video game is targeting PC and consoles and was announced today via a job recruiting post, as the company hopes to bring in fresh faces to work on a project that seemingly strikes a balance between real life and fantasy. Blizzard says the survival game project is still in its early stages but tells fans to expect to meet heroes and embark on new adventures.

The job posting calls for applicants in engineering, design, and art roles. No other solid details have really been revealed, but you can at least look at that intriguing concept art below. Additionally, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier has optimistically noted that “even some of the most disgruntled Blizzard employees rave about this game/team.”

The deal is expected to close sometime next year, but let’s hope we learn about a better Activision Blizzard sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, this Blizzard survival game is probably several years away from release.
