OMG! I was reading the Fall Movie Preview edition of “Entertainment Weekly” and there was a little blurb that Halle Berry had been cast in the starring role for ‘Catwoman,’ due out next summer. Meow! They couldn’t have picked a better actress (Purrrr…Eartha Kitt flashback) to fit into those stilleto heels. Armed with my newfound knowledge, I ran over to Movies.com to see if I should really stock up on squeaky mice.
Based on the DC Comic Book character, this film follows a woman who has a near-death experience and discovers she has new-found feline abilities. With her new powers, she seeks revenge against the man who murdered her mother.
Pffft! It seems that the rest of the cast have not yet been housetrained, so only the pretty kitty has been let out. We’ll just have to stay tuned and see what happens when the fur really starts to fly.
