Daredevil: Born Again Disney+ MCU series Marvel Phase 5 SDCC 2022

Charlie Cox Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin will return in Daredevil: Born Again, an original Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Disney+ series, as revealed during Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel. The series was announced as part of the MCU Phase 5 lineup. Cox made a triumphant and shocking return as blind lawyer Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home last year. Cox had previously played the character in Netflix’s Daredevil show, which came to a close with its third season. D’Onofrio, who played Kingpin all three seasons, also appeared in Marvel’s Hawkeye earlier this year. That both actors will bring their incredible takes on their characters back in a new standalone show is welcome, as it’s some of the most promising Marvel Studios news in quite some time. We did know this was coming though.

There’s no telling what story this new show will tell. So far, it’s not clear how similar the MCU Daredevil and Kingpin will be to their already well-established iterations. Stay tuned for more information on Daredevil: Born Again.
