As it’s Friday, and you deserve to be murdered repeatedly in a fantasy environment, feast thine eyes on the ways in which Dark Souls 2 intends to chop you into little bits. Yes, that’s your leg that dog’s having a go at. Aren’t you lucky! Also, some screens of mysterious fellows and their sharp implements. Plus one mysterious fellow without a sharp implement, just to tease you.
The extra mysterious fellow is comedian Peter Serafinowicz, of Shaun of the Dead and Spaced fame. He’s new to Dark Souls 2, and will be voicing Mild-Mannered Pete, who has dark, unmentionable motives. “He may teach players a few tricks of his own in order to survive during their quest,” says Namco Bandai. “Will they dare to trust this enigmatic character?”
With a name like Mild Mannered Pete? How could you not? Dark Souls 2 is due March 11th for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
