Nintendo Switch eShop Deals Include Family Board Games, Saints Row IV, and a Slew of Others
It’s Thursday, which means a new batch of Nintendo Switch eShop games are on sale. This week’s list of deals focuses on classic family board games like Clue for $14.99, Battleship for $9.99, Catan for $9.99, and Pandemic for $9.99.
You can also grab the newly released Saints Row IV: Re-Elected for $26.79, among many other games. The list doesn’t feature any major first-party titles, but it’s a great way to get some sweet digital versions of board games. The sale is good until June 26.

Demon’s Souls PS5 Tech Breakdown Shows Off Just How Good It Will Look
One of the most exciting announcements featured in the recent PlayStation 5 game showcase was the remake of Demon’s Souls, which is being rebuilt by Bluepoint Games. Digital Foundry put up a video today comparing the visuals and performance of the PS5 version with its PS3 counterpart.
Considering Demon’s Souls was released on the PlayStation 3 11 years ago, the PS5 version will be a huge step up. The remake will feature ray tracing among other additions. You can check out Digital Foundry’s comparison video below.

A New Crash Bandicoot Game Is Likely in the Works as Teased by Puzzle Sent to Journalists
Today, many prolific journalists received a conspicuous Crash Bandicoot jigsaw puzzle in the mail, which many are assuming is a tease for what’s to come. The puzzle is actually missing pieces, leading some to believe the rest of the pieces will come later, revealing the title of the game.
Similar marketing occurred for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled in the past. Considering how well it and the N. Sane Trilogy sold, it makes sense to see the series continue with a new entry.

New Job Listings Point to Next-Gen Injustice and Mortal Kombat
Unsurprisingly, we will be getting more Mortal Kombat and Injustice, courtesy of developer NetherRealm Studios. A recent job listing for a Principal Graphics Engineer seems to point to the two series. NetherRealm asks for the Engineer to “drive the next generation console graphics vision for the Mortal Kombat and Injustice franchises,” which confirms the company is looking ahead for both franchises.
This is great for fighting game enthusiasts, especially since there haven’t been any games of that genre officially confirmed for next generation yet.

Animal Crossing Limited Edition Nintendo Switch Receiving Restock in U.K. and Australia
Nintendo has made a habit out of producing hard-to-find hardware and software lately. In fact, you often can’t even find a Nintendo Switch for a reasonable price right now. But it looks like the U.K. and Australia will be getting a restock of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch in all its glory.
It will be available at select retailers starting on July 10, but it’s unclear how many or if it will be coming to other regions. Considering the demand for not just this limited edition Switch, but Switch consoles in general, it would be nice to see a worldwide re-release.

Game of Thrones Board Game Is Coming to Steam Later This Year
The 2003 Game of Thrones board game will be headed to Steam in video game form in Q3 of this year. Following its original release, it was updated to coincide with the show in 2011 and will now see a second life on PC.
It’s unclear if it will be headed to other platforms, but whether this happens will likely be determined by its initial sales on PC. The Steam version is being worked on by Dire Wolf and will be published by Asmodee Digital.
