Disintegration Multiplayer Beta Tests Scheduled for Later This Month

Disintegration, V1 interactive, Beta

Disintegration’s closed beta has been set to go live just before the end of January. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players granted access to the beta can jump into the first-person shooting game starting 8 a.m. PT on Jan. 28 through 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 29. Then, just two days later, an open beta for the same platforms will run through Jan. 31 through Feb. 1.

Players who partake in either the private or open beta will get to experience the game’s hybrid gameplay via two featured multiplayer game modes: Retrieval and Control. Retrieval sees an attacking and defending team where the former must deliver a payload to an objective. Control is a domination-type game mode that has two teams competing to capture and hold locations on a playing field.

When V1 Interactive launches Disintegration this year, it will include both beta game multiplayer modes and one additional mode to enjoy alongside the game’s campaign.

Disintegration comes from developer V1 Interactive, which was founded by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto. Set in a near future sci-fi universe, the game will see players mixing intense first-person shooting with a healthy dose of strategy.

If you have yet to sign up for the beta test, be sure to head over to Disintegration’s website to do so. The Escapist will also soon giveaway 300 beta codes on Jan. 21, so be sure to keep an eye out for your chance to join in.
