Dragon Age 4 is now officially titled Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The title update was announced on the franchise’s social media pages, with the team behind the project also revealing a purple theme and the phrase, “May the Dread Wolf take you.” BioWare revealed more in a blog post that teases what players can expect as they journey through the lands of Thedas. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf focuses on Solas, a character series fans will find familiar.
“Some say he might be an ancient elven god, but some say not,” states the blog post. “Others say a betrayer of his people…or a savior who now seeks to rescue them at the cost of your world. His motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes questionable, earning him a reputation as something of a trickster deity—a player of dark and dangerous games.”
May the Dread Wolf take you.

BioWare continues, explaining that, whether they are series veterans or newcomers, players will be able to jump into Dreadwolf and enjoy the experience all the same. The developer has also confirmed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will not release in 2022, though the team is still making good progress toward launch. As eager players wait for more, BioWare promises to share additional information before the year is over.
