Conan Exiles developer Funcom has opened a recruiting page for its Dune open-world survival game set on Arrakis. The developer has studios in several countries, including the United States and its home of Norway, and is open to hiring for-on site, remote, and hybrid positions. Funcom calls this game its “most ambitious project yet.” Along with this announcement come some first images and concept art of the Dune open-world survival game (via Gematsu):

These first images certainly offer the vibe of a massive open-world Arrakis to explore, and one wonders what survival against sandworms would look like in a Dune game running on a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X. Suffice to say, it will probably be more graphics-intensive than the 4X strategy title Dune: Spice Wars.
