Electronic Arts, the largest game publisher in the world, posted fourth quarter earnings that exceeded Wall Street’s estimates. The company recorded a net income of $160 million for the quarter, which is down from $259 million for the same period last year.
Based on this and past data, the company expects net revenue for the 2007 fiscal year to exceed $3 billion dollars.
Electronic Arts is known for its popular sports series such as Fifa and Madden, which are generally made available for all current systems.
