Secret Invasion has already picked up quite a cast in Samuel Jackson, who is returning as Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn, who is reprising his role as Talos, the leading Skrull we were introduced to in Captain Marvel. Kingsley Ben-Adir (Peaky Blinders, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) is attached to star as the project’s villain, and Olivia Colman (The Father, The Crown) is in talks to join in some form as well.

Little is known about the Secret Invasion Disney+ show past a short summary provided by the company: “The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”

Secret Invasion will only be the latest in Marvel’s long line of MCU content on the streamer, including WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. After the latter premieres its season finale this Friday, Marvel will launch into its Loki series this June, with Moon Knight, What If?…, and more shows still to come.

In the movie realm, Black Widow is currently scheduled to come to theaters and Disney+ Premier Access this July and will be followed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings exclusively in theaters. Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones co-stars, Kit Harington and Richard Madden, will also appear in Eternals when it premieres later this year.
